Membership is available throughout the year. Membership and registration forms are available at the library and the Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre. Our Terms & Conditions can be found on the bottom of our Home Page and at the Community Centre.
To visit or join up phone the Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre Office on 5944 3484 during office hours. *Opening hours are subject to changes and are reviewed yearly.
Cost: Annual Family Membership for the calendar year (January to December during school terms. CLOSED SUMMER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS) is $30 plus $20* annual Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre membership. Your membership includes completing a duty requirement.
*Please note: The following Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre annual membership fees apply depending which term you join. Term 1 renewal $20 Term 2 renewal $15 Term 3 renewal $10 Term 4 renewal $5
What does duty involve?
During the year we may ask you to assist with an occasional duty task, especially as member numbers increase. Duty may consist of either the following; assisting staff and volunteers during a toy library session for 1 to 2 hours, up to 4 times a year (ie: recording, counting and cleaning of returned and loaned toys), cleaning & maintaining toys/storage items, help with fundraising/stocktake or another nominated means of assistance. We know your free time is important to you and will try to keep any duty tasks to a minimum. Please feel free to enquire or tell us how you can assist as a member. Being involved with duty helps us run the library more efficiently and can be a lot of fun for you and your family.

The library is open MONDAYS between 11am and 1pm during school terms (Closed public holidays). On occasions we can arrange a time outside these times for returns only. WE ARE CLOSED OVER THE SUMMER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. If you wish to contact the Centre regarding a toy library query please phone the Community Centre Office during 9.15am and 2pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday on 5944 3484
