Membership is available throughout the year. Membership and registration forms are available at the library and the Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre.

To visit or join up phone the Upper Beaconsfield Community Centre Office on 5944 3484 during office hours. Or drop by during the library open times *Opening hours are subject to changes and are reviewed yearly.
Cost: Annual Family Membership for 12 months is $50* We are closed during school holidays and on public holidays. TOYS CANNOT BE BORROWED OVER THE SUMMER SCHOOL HOLIDAY BREAK. 2025 The Community Centre annual membership fee has been waived for the reminder of the year. *Your membership includes completing a toy library duty requirement. And some toys carry a toy hire bond fee.
What does duty involve?
During the year we may ask you to assist with a duty task, especially as member numbers increase. Duty may consist of either the following; assisting staff and volunteers during a toy library session for up to 2.5 hours, 3 to 4 times a year (ie: recording, counting and cleaning of returned and loaned toys). Or other duties such as: cleaning & maintaining toys/storage items, toy labeling and entering, help with fundraising/stocktake/events or another nominated means of assistance.
We know your free time is important to you and will try to keep any duty tasks to a minimum. Please feel free to enquire or tell us how you can assist as a member. Being involved helps us run the library more efficiently and can be a lot of fun for you and your family. Some tasks can be done at your own home.

The library is currently open MONDAYS between 11.30am and 1.30pm during school terms (Closed public holidays). On occasions we can arrange a time outside these times for returns only. WE ARE CLOSED OVER THE SUMMER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. If you wish to contact the Centre regarding a toy library query please phone the Community Centre Office during 9.15am and 2pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday on 5944 3484
